From Summer Seeds to Autumn Harvest: Sharing God’s Love This Summer
Dear Friends and Partners,
As the warmth of summer gives way to the crisp air of autumn, we reflect on the incredible ways God has moved through Project 7 Billion over these past few months. Your prayers, encouragement, and support have been the fertile ground from which seeds of faith were sown, and we’re excited to share the harvest that is beginning to emerge.
June Highlights
In June, we were blessed with the opportunity to have Latimer Bowen featured on Christ Culture Women with Coach Jackie D and Jill Hellwig. Latimer shared her powerful testimony from Ferocious Love and highlighted the amazing work God is doing worldwide through Project 7 Billion. This platform allowed us to reach new hearts with the message of God’s unrelenting love.
July Milestones
July was a month of powerful encounters. On July 7, Latimer spoke at FountainGate Fellowship, where she shared our mission to spread the good news across the globe. Later in the month, on July 17, at “It’s Time - Breakthrough to a Greater Unlocking” in Dallas, Texas, Latimer encouraged those on the brink of breakthrough, offering guidance on hearing God's voice, obedience to His call, and overcoming life's challenges to fully embrace God's healing and purpose.
August Blessings
August was a time of activation and outreach. On August 3, the Women’s Freedom Gathering empowered HIS Warrior Brides to take territory for the Kingdom, equipping them through worship, prayer, and teaching. That same day, Project 7 Billion supported the 5th Annual Backpack Giveaway by donating over 700 rulers, helping to prepare children in the Big Country for the new school year.
On August 4, Latimer shared her transformative journey at Mosaic Church, illustrating her path from battling depression to becoming a vessel of God’s vision. Her story resonated deeply with many, highlighting the power of God's love to heal and restore. A few days later, on August 7, at New Hope Church’s First Wednesday Fire, Latimer once again shared her journey, inspiring others to embrace their God-given purpose and the limitless love of Christ.
Our monthly Rosh Chodesh gatherings also continued to be powerful times of worship and prayer, uniting us in intercession for our city and families.
Looking Ahead
Since May 2024, we have reached over 14 million people with the message of “I love you” through encounters with the image of the Lion of Judah. None of this would be possible without your unwavering support. As we move into this next season, we are filled with anticipation for the new ways God will use us to engage people both in person and online with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
